The Queensland Rugby Club, through Paynter Dixon engaged D5D to design a new city club on the banks of the Brisbane River, within the prestigious Riverside Centre.
D5D delivered this new facility to the existing building initially designed by Harry Seidler.
An entire outstanding fit out of the interior provided an 2 storey design with an extensive ground floor function centre and upstairs fine dining restaurant and sports bar providing hospitality and dining facilities for all members.
A large external balcony overlooking the river complemented the internal facilities.
The design also provides an exclusive ‘Benefactors’ Club lounge on the second level, as well as office areas which will accommodate the needs of the administration side of the club.
