With four campuses throughout Sydney, the Randwick facility is the latest new Montifiore Home, the largest Jewish aged care provider. The design of this new campus in Randwick has been influenced by leading-edge research into aged care needs and quality of lifestyle.
This development offers a number of impressive facilities including a large Hydrotherapy pools with a circular spa for massage therapy and relaxation, the Burger Day Centre, community plaza and ample underground parking. The Randwick campus caters for 276 residents within four alternate streams of aged care accommodation – High Care, Low Care, Secure Dementia Care and Respite Care.
D5D was brought in by the Project Manager, McLachlan Lister for design review, design development and the construction documentation phases of the project. By placing D5D architectural staff in both the Design Architect’s office as well as on site, we were able to substantially reduce the construction programme and expedite the Building Contractor’s queries.
